Residential Foundation Pit Reinforcement
The brief
Foundation pit reinforcement at Mamarashvili St. 13, Tbilisi, commissioned by Domus Development in 2018 — the third Domus project delivered by ERTI, following Paliashvili 87 and 102. By this point the two companies had established a trusted working relationship built on consistent delivery across demanding urban Tbilisi sites.
The challenge
The Mamarashvili St. site required careful management of the foundation pit perimeter in a dense residential setting. Ground conditions and existing structures on all sides demanded precision installation to maintain stability throughout the excavation phase.
Our approach
ERTI applied the Giken press-in sheet piling methodology to install a continuous perimeter wall, providing the lateral earth retention and groundwater control needed for the basement excavation. Programme and quality met Domus's standards for the third consecutive project.
