Residential Foundation Pit Reinforcement
The brief
Foundation pit reinforcement for a residential development at Paliashvili St. 102 in the Vake district, commissioned by Ocean Capital in 2017. The project ran concurrently with ERTI's work at Paliashvili 87 — demonstrating the company's capacity to deliver multiple demanding urban foundation projects simultaneously.
The challenge
Paliashvili St. 102 sits within the same densely built Vake neighbourhood as several earlier ERTI projects. The closely packed urban fabric, underground utilities, and residential neighbours all demanded the same zero-vibration methodology that had become ERTI's standard for this district.
Our approach
ERTI deployed the Giken press-in piler to install a continuous steel sheet pile perimeter, providing stable earth retention and groundwater cutoff throughout the excavation programme. The completed wall allowed Ocean Capital's contractor to excavate and build the basement structure without impacting the surrounding residential block.
